Mahaanta 1997

Mahaanta is a 1997 Bollywood action film starring Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit. The story follows Vijay, an honest police officer as he attempts to bring down the criminal activities of Kailash, a local gangster. Kailash has been terrorizing the town and its citizens for some time, and it's up to Vijay to put a stop to him. With the help of his colleague, Inspector Jaya, Vijay manages to apprehend Kailash and his cronies and lock them away in jail. However, Kailash soon escapes and hatches a plan to get revenge on Vijay and Jaya. A showdown ensues between Vijay and Kailash, with Vijay emerging victorious in the end. In the end, Vijay is able to restore peace and order to the town, and Jaya finally accepts his love for her.
