Maha Sati Savitri is a Bollywood movie based on the Indian epic Mahabharata. The story focuses on the character of Savitri, a devoted wife who is determined to restore her husband Satyavan's life. After hearing from Lord Yama, the god of death, that Satyavan will die soon, Savitri pleads with him to spare her husband's life.
