Maa 1952

Maa is a 1952 Indian drama film that tells the story of a young man, Shyam, who was abandoned by his parents shortly after his birth. He is taken in and raised by a kind-hearted but poor farmer, Jagannath, and his wife, Tara. As he grows up, he falls in love with a rich girl from the nearby village, Radha. However, her family disapproves of their relationship because of the social class difference between them. Shyam's life changes when his biological father returns to claim him. After a heated argument between Shyam's father and Jagannath, Shyam decides to stay with his foster parents. In the end, Shyam and Radha get married, and the couple lives happily ever after with the blessings of both families.
