Love Marriage is a 1984 romantic comedy film directed by Bapu and starring Shashi Kapoor, Padmini Kolhapure, and Amrish Puri. The story follows a young couple, Raja and Meena, who are in love and want to get married. However, their families oppose the union due to financial and class differences. The couple decides to elope, but their plans are ruined when they are caught by the police. After spending some time in jail, the couple reunite with their families and attempt to win back their approval. They succeed, and the two families eventually agree to arrange a wedding for the couple. In the end, Raja and Meena are happily married and living together as one family. Love Marriage is a lighthearted romantic comedy that explores the obstacles of marrying someone from a different social class. It is a story of true love conquering all and shows that family and social barriers can be overcome with persistence, patience, and determination.
