Story

Love in Tokyo is a 1966 Indian romantic comedy film directed by Pramod Chakravorty. It stars Joy Mukherjee and Asha Parekh in the lead roles. The story revolves around two young people, Raja (Joy Mukherjee) and Asha (Asha Parekh). Raja is a wealthy man from India who comes to Tokyo on vacation. He falls in love with Asha, a poor girl from Tokyo. Asha is hesitant to accept his love due to their differences in class and culture. Nevertheless, they eventually find common ground and are able to overcome the obstacles that stand between them. In the end, Raja and Asha are happily married and live together in Tokyo. Love in Tokyo is a classic Bollywood romantic comedy that celebrates the power of love to bring everyone together, despite cultural and economic barriers.
