Story

Laadla is a 1994 Indian drama movie that tells the story of a young woman who is forced to take over her father's business after his death. Durga is the daughter of a wealthy industrialist who has been groomed by her father to succeed him in the family business. However, when her father dies suddenly, Durga finds herself in a difficult situation as her stepmother and stepbrother conspire to take control of the business. Durga must rely on her inner strength and intelligence to overcome the obstacles that stand in her way and prove she is capable of running the business. With help from her loyal assistant Laadla, she is able to reclaim her rightful place at the helm of the company. In the end, Durga is able to restore the family fortune and earn respect from those around her. The movie follows Durga's journey as she learns to stand up for herself and prove her worth in a male-dominated world.
