Story

Kora Badan is a 1973 Hindi-language film. It follows the story of an impoverished rural couple, Gopal and Shanta, who try to make ends meet despite their poverty. When their daughter Kala falls ill, Gopal desperately searches for money to pay for her medical treatment. He sells his cattle and takes up work as a labourer in the city but still fails to raise the necessary funds. Desperate, Gopal turns to his wealthy landlord, who provides him with enough money to cover Kala's medical expenses. However, the landlord also demands that Gopal give up his daughter as payment. Gopal reluctantly agrees and sends Kala away with the landlord. Kala is then taken to the city where she is adopted by a rich family. Despite the good fortune, Kala is unhappy and longs to be reunited with her parents. The landlord eventually relents and allows Kala to return home, bringing hope and joy to the poor rural family. Kala's return marks the beginning of new life for the family and they all live happily ev...
