Khandaan 1942

Khandaan is a 1942 Indian Hindi film directed by Kardar. It is the story of Prem (Noor Mohamed Charlie) and his mother (Leela Chitnis). They live in a small village, and Prem is known for his hot temper and pride. He has been raised to be a responsible member of the community, but he rebels against this and chooses a life of crime. He becomes involved with a gang led by Ganpat (Ishwarlal), a dangerous criminal. Together, they commit robberies and other illegal activities, all while trying to keep their true identities hidden. Meanwhile, Prem's mother remains unaware of his actions and prays for his safety. Eventually, Prem meets a young girl named Gauri (Suraiya) and falls in love with her. He tries to leave the gang and start a new life with her. However, Ganpat finds out and threatens to kill both of them. In the end, Prem must make a difficult decision: either face Ganpat and risk his own life, or stay on the path of crime and save Gauri. After much deliberation, Prem chooses to fight Ganpat and ultimately wins. The movie ends with Prem and Gauri happily reunited and Prem's mother proud of her son
