Story

Karwan-E-Hayat is a Bollywood drama film released in 2005. The story revolves around two families from the same village in rural India. The first family, led by Ranjit Rai (Ajay Devgn) faces a severe drought and struggles financially. The second family, led by Ram Sahai (Sunil Shetty), is affluent and has a successful business. When the drought becomes too much for the Rai family to bear, they appeal to Ram Sahai for help. Despite their differences, Ram Sahai agrees to assist them and takes Ranjit Rai’s daughter, Kirti, into his home as a servant. As the months pass, a strong bond of friendship develops between Kirti and Ram Sahai’s son, Rajesh. The two families eventually join together to face the common enemy, the drought. Ranjit Rai and Ram Sahai work together to build a water dam, which would bring life back to the dry region. But the fight isn’t easy as they must battle local thugs who are against the project.
