Kartoos 1999

Kartoos is a 1999 action drama film starring Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Manisha Koirala. The story is about an aimless young man named Raja (Dutt) who has been wrongfully imprisoned. After his release he meets Boss (Shroff), a crime lord, who gives him the task of killing three people in exchange for money. Despite being initially hesitant, Raja accepts the job and completes it successfully. However, during his mission he discovers that one of the targets is an innocent person and decides to spare his life. Raja's conscience is further tested when Boss orders him to kill his own brother who had betrayed him. Raja eventually sacrifices his life to save his brother and dies in Boss's arms. In the end, Raja's sacrifice brings redemption and peace to his tortured soul.
