Kapoor & Sons is a story about two estranged brothers, Rahul and Arjun Kapoor. After their grandfather's sudden death, the family is forced to come together to make arrangements for his funeral. Rahul is a successful London-based author who is in India for the first time in years while Arjun is an aspiring musician who has yet to find success. Tensions between the two siblings reach a boiling point when they both fall for the same girl, Tia, who works in their grandfather's cafe. The film follows the Kapoor family as they attempt to reconcile their differences and come together to celebrate their grandfather's life. Through a series of heartfelt conversations, the brothers learn to forgive each other and rekindle their bond. In the end, the family is able to move forward with the support of each other and the memories of their beloved grandfather.
