Story

Kanhaiya is a 1959 Bollywood musical drama film starring Raj Kapoor and Nutan. The movie follows the story of Kanhaiya, an orphaned boy adopted by a wealthy family in Banaras. He is raised with love and kindness by his new parents and grows up to be a strong and successful man. Despite his success, however, he still feels an emptiness in his life that leads him to seek out his real mother. On his quest, he meets and falls in love with Gulabi, a beautiful girl whose father has been wrongfully imprisoned. Kanhaiya then embarks on a mission to save Gulabi's father and prove his innocence. In the end, after proving Gulabi's father's innocence, Kanhaiya discovers his true identity and is reunited with his long-lost mother. The movie ends with a message of hope, faith, and family.
