Kali Ganga 1990

Kali Ganga is a 1990 Bollywood drama film directed by Rajiv Mehra. The film stars Mandakini and Govinda in lead roles. The story revolves around two lovers, Ganga (Mandakini) and Karan (Govinda). They belong to two different religions, Hinduism and Islam, and are determined to get married against the wishes of their respective families. The couple elopes and embark on a journey to find peace and love. Along the way, they face several obstacles but ultimately find happiness when they reach a temple dedicated to the goddess Kali at the confluence of the Ganges and Yamuna rivers. Here the couple offer prayers and seek blessings from the divine mother for their union.
