Kal Ho Naa Ho 2003

Kal Ho Naa Ho is a romantic comedy-drama about the life of Naina Catherine Kapur, a pessimistic Punjabi girl living in New York City. Naina's life changes when Aman Mathur, an outgoing and carefree young man, moves in next door. He introduces her to his best friend, Rohit Patel, and the three become close friends. Naina begins to fall in love with Aman but holds back because she believes he is destined for another woman. Meanwhile, Rohit falls in love with Naina. As the story progresses, Aman reveals that he has a terminal illness and is dying. He encourages Naina and Rohit to be together and sacrifices his own happiness for theirs. In the end, Naina realizes Aman's selfless love for her and confesses her love for him. The movie ends on a happy note with Naina and Aman embracing and Rohit blessing them.
