Kajarya 2015

Kajarya is a 2015 Indian drama film directed by Madhureeta Anand. The film centers around two women, Kajarya (Meenu Hooda) and Meethi (Ridhima Sud), who live in rural India. Kajarya, a traditional midwife, struggles to make ends meet and is forced to aid in female infanticide. Meethi is a journalist who has come to the village to report on the practice of female infanticide. Through their interactions, Kajarya discovers the gravity of her actions and begins to question her own beliefs.
