Kai Po Che! 2013

Kai Po Che! is a 2013 Indian coming-of-age drama film directed by Abhishek Kapoor based on the novel The 3 Mistakes of My Life by Chetan Bhagat. The film follows three best friends, Ishaan, Omi and Govind, as they navigate through their youths in Ahmedabad, India. They are joined by a fourth character, Ali, a Muslim boy who lives with them. Together, the four open a sports store that helps to revitalize the local cricket team. However, the boys soon become embroiled in religious and political tensions that threaten to tear apart their friendship. A series of unexpected events test their friendship and loyalty, ultimately leading to the tragic death of one of their own. Through these events, the boys learn the importance of friendship, loyalty and perseverance despite life’s hardships. Despite the tragedy that befalls them in the end, the boys remain hopeful for a better future.
