Jumbo 2008

Jumbo is a 2008 Chinese comedy-drama film written and directed by Feng Xiaogang. It tells the story of two brothers, Wang Hao and Wang Qiang. The siblings are from a rural village and have to move to the city to find work. In order to support themselves, they take on various odd jobs such as selling vegetables and setting up stalls. One day, they stumble across a giant teddy bear called ‘Jumbo’ and begin using it to attract customers to their stall. With the help of Jumbo, they make enough money to move out of their tiny apartment and buy a small house. However, their newfound success brings with it unexpected problems, such as jealous neighbors who want to steal Jumbo away from them. In the end, Wang Hao and Wang Qiang manage to resolve their issues and keep Jumbo safe. Through this experience, they learn that family is more important than money.
