Kuku Saini (Varun Dhawan) and Naina Sharma (Kiara Advani) are a married couple who have been living in Canada for five years. Kuku is a bouncer in a nightclub while Naina is a successful businesswoman. The couple is facing marital problems due to their different career goals and lifestyles.

Meanwhile, Kuku's parents, Bheem Saini (Anil Kapoor) and Geeta Saini (Neetu Kapoor), are also going through a divorce. Bheem has fallen in love with another woman, Meera (Tisca Chopra), while Geeta is struggling to come to terms with the separation.

The two couples' lives intersect when Kuku and Naina return to India for Ginny's (Prajakta Koli) wedding. The four of them must come to terms with their marital problems and decide whether they want to stay together or get a divorce.
