JD 2017

JD is a film about an orphaned teenager, JD, who lives in a small town. After his parents died, he was taken in by his Uncle Bob and Aunt Maureen, who have been raising him ever since. JD has a hard time fitting in with the other kids at school and struggles to find his place in life. One day, he meets a mysterious girl named Brandy, who gives him hope and encourages him to be himself. As they become friends, JD discovers a passion for music and decides to pursue it. He learns to play the guitar and starts a band. With Brandy's encouragement, JD enters a battle of the bands competition. Despite some initial setbacks, JD and his band are able to triumph over their competition. JD learns to embrace his talent and finds courage to stand up for himself. He gains confidence in himself and begins to think of a future for himself beyond his small town. In the end, JD and Brandy part ways, but JD has found the courage to follow his dreams.
