Jamai Raja 1990

Jamai Raja is a 1990 Indian comedy film starring Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit. The story revolves around a young man, Raja, who is the son of a rich businessman. His father arranges a marriage for him with a girl from a poor family, but Raja falls in love with the daughter of a powerful politician. Raja's father disapproves of the union and arranges for him to be married to someone else. Raja then fakes his death and runs away with his beloved. They face several obstacles on their journey including a vengeful relative and an angry mob, before finally finding happiness in each other's arms. In the end, Raja proves that true love can overcome even the toughest of circumstances.
