_(film) Jaagruti is a 1993 Hindi drama film starring Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt and Naseeruddin Shah. The story follows the life of a young man named Raju who is employed as a security guard in an apartment complex. He is in love with a girl named Radha, who lives in the same building. Raju’s world turns upside down when he discovers that his best friend, Gopi, is a criminal. Despite his protests, Gopi befriends some hardcore criminals to make money. Raju, feeling betrayed, takes it upon himself to save Gopi from his own mistake. He gets into a fight with the gangsters, and manages to get them arrested by the police. In the end, Raju and Radha reunite, and Raju is hailed as a hero. The movie highlights the need to be aware of our surroundings and not lose sight of our morals, even in difficult times.
