Ishq 1997

Ishq is an Indian romantic comedy film released in 1997. It stars Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla as Ajay and Madhu, two lovers who are torn apart when their families feud. When the two get engaged, their families find out and are appalled. They refuse to let them marry each other and instead arrange for Ajay to marry a wealthy woman. However, Ajay and Madhu elope to get married and start a new life together. Despite the odds against them, they make it work until Ajay finds out that Madhu has been hiding a major secret. He is hurt and angry, but eventually forgives her. In the end, Ajay and Madhu reunite with their families, who accept their love and finally allow them to be married. The movie ends with the couple happily dancing together. Ishq is an uplifting story of love conquering all obstacles.
