Iqbal 2005

Iqbal is a 2005 Indian sports drama film. The story revolves around Iqbal, a deaf and mute boy who dreams of becoming a cricketer against all odds. Despite his disability, he is determined to fulfil his dream and be accepted by the world. He meets Mohit, a washed-up cricket coach who helps him to gain the confidence and skills he needs to succeed. With hard work and determination, Iqbal soon gains recognition and respect from the local villagers as well as the cricketing community. With the help of Mohit, Iqbal goes on to represent India in an international tournament. In the end, Iqbal is able to prove everyone wrong and realise his dream of becoming a successful cricketer.
