Inside Out 2 2024

New characters arrive – Anxiety, leading a team of Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment. While Joy welcomes them, she worries about the impact on Riley's well-being. Anxiety, with her focus on negativity, clashes with Joy's optimism. Anxious about the hockey tryout, Riley loses access to her core memories and personality (Sense of Self) due to Anxiety's actions.

Trapped in a forgotten part of Riley's mind, the original emotions find help from Bloofy, a childhood cartoon character. Meanwhile, the new emotions build a distorted "Sense of Self" fueled by negativity. With the help of a recall tube, Sadness reaches headquarters, but the new emotions quickly capture her.

Joy and the others venture into the "Back of the Mind" to retrieve Riley's true Sense of Self. They witness Anxiety manipulate Riley, jeopardizing her friendships. They reach the memories but trigger an avalanche, sending them back to headquarters in the midst of chaos caused by the corrupted "Sense of Self."

Joy manages to convince Anxiety that Riley doesn't need to change to have a good future. They return to Riley, who reconciles with her friends and embraces a new friendship with a teammate. Ultimately, all the emotions find a way to coexist, protecting Riley's ever-evolving inner world.
