Imtihaan 1949

Imtihaan is a 1949 Indian romantic drama film directed by Shaheed Lateef. The story revolves around two brothers, Anwar (Shyam Kumar) and Aslam (Mubarak). Anwar and Aslam are close friends with Madhu (Noor Jehan), the daughter of their employer. Anwar falls in love with Madhu and proposes to her, but she rejects him as she is already in love with Aslam. Anwar is heartbroken and decides to leave for Lahore to pursue a career in music. He meets a girl named Sunaina (Kamini Kaushal) in Lahore and they eventually fall in love. However, things take a turn when Madhu goes to Lahore to meet him, revealing that she was never in love with Aslam and instead loves Anwar. In the end, Anwar and Madhu get married, while Sunaina also finds true love.
