Immaan Dharam 1977

Immaan Dharam is a 1977 Indian action comedy film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor. The storyline revolves around two con-men, Ajit and Veeru, who find themselves in the middle of a series of robberies in a small village. When the police commissioner, Thakur Baldev Singh, comes to investigate, the two men use their wit and charm to try to outsmart him. In the process, they also become involved in a feud between two warring families, one headed by the wealthy Sethji and the other by his poor relative, Chaudhary. Ajit and Veeru eventually team up with Chaudhary in order to help him take back his land from Sethji's family. Through their courage and ingenuity, they succeed in foiling Sethji's plans, while also restoring peace in the village. In the end, Ajit and Veeru are rewarded for their heroism and are allowed to keep their newly found wealth.
