Kapoor & Sons is a 2016 Indian family drama film which follows the story of two estranged brothers, Rahul and Arjun Kapoor, who return home after years of living abroad. They come to visit their elderly grandfather (Dada Ji) in Coonoor, India. The family has been coping with emotional turmoil ever since the death of their mother, which has resulted in their father's alcoholism. Meanwhile, their grandfather is suffering from a heart condition. The brothers soon learn that their grandfather's deteriorating health has brought the entire family together for the first time in many years. As they all spend time together, various family secrets and issues are revealed. Soon, each character must confront his or her own past and the challenges of living together. In the end, the family finds peace, love, and understanding. Through these difficult times, the family learns to embrace each other and appreciate the things that truly matter.
