Hulchul 2004

Hulchul is a 2004 Indian romantic-comedy film directed by Priyadarshan. It stars Akshaye Khanna, Kareena Kapoor, and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles. The plot of the movie follows two families, the Patels and the Kapoors, who are longtime rivals. The Patels' daughter, Anjali (Kareena Kapoor), and the Kapoors' son, Luv Nanda (Akshaye Khanna) meet by chance and fall in love. However, their families are unwilling to accept their relationship due to past grievances. To make matters worse, both families have arranged marriages for the two young lovers. In order to prove their love for each other and win over their families, the couple concocts a plan to outsmart the two families and reunite them. With the help of their friends, they succeed in winning back the trust of their families and eventually marry. Hulchul is a lighthearted comedy about love, family, and friendship.
