Hifazat 1973

Hifazat is a 1973 Indian drama film directed by Asit Sen. It stars Ashok Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, and Jaya Bhaduri. The movie tells the story of a wealthy businessman, Ram Prasad (Ashok Kumar), who lives with his daughter, Sheela (Jaya Bhaduri). Sheela is in love with a young man, Shankar (Sanjeev Kumar), but her father disapproves of the relationship. He arranges for her to be married to someone else and hires a bodyguard, Dhanraj (Nazir Hussain), to protect her from Shankar. Shankar manages to convince Dhanraj that he loves Sheela and should not stand in their way. Eventually, Ram Prasad accepts Shankar as his son-in-law, and the couple get married. The story follows the two as they face various obstacles throughout their union, eventually learning to respect each other’s views and become better partners. In the end, the couple are reconciled and live happily ever after.
