Story

Hariyali Aur Rasta is a classic Bollywood film about two childhood friends, Vicky and Raju. Vicky is the son of a rich industrialist while Raju is the son of a poor farmer. They both grow up together, but as they become adults their social status starts to separate them. When Raju's father is arrested and jailed for a debt he cannot pay, Raju takes it upon himself to repay the debt and free his father. In order to do so, he goes to work for Vicky's father, not knowing that Vicky is his old friend. Meanwhile, Vicky's father has arranged a marriage for him with a wealthy woman. After several misunderstandings between the two friends, they eventually reunite and discover the truth. Raju pays off his father's debt, and Vicky is relieved from the arranged marriage. In the end, Vicky and Raju are reunited as best friends.
