Hamari Bahu Alka 1982

Hamari Bahu Alka is a 1982 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee and starring Mithun Chakraborty, Zarina Wahab, Sarika, and Deven Verma. The film tells the story of Alka (Zarina Wahab) who is a young widow, living with her father-in-law (Deven Verma). When she meets the wealthy Raja (Mithun Chakraborty), they fall in love and he asks her to marry him. However, due to her father-in-law's disapproval of the union, Alka is forced to choose between her love for Raja and her loyalty to her father-in-law. Ultimately, she decides to remain loyal to her father-in-law and sacrifices her own happiness. This decision leads to her father-in-law eventually approving of the union and allowing them to get married.
