Haathkadi 1982

Haathkadi is a 1982 Bollywood romantic comedy film starring Sanjeev Kumar, Shatrughan Sinha, Reena Roy and Parveen Babi. The story follows the life of a young man named Hari (Sanjeev Kumar) who lives in a small village with his family. After his father's death, Hari is forced to take up a job in the city in order to support himself and his family. There he meets Laxmi (Reena Roy) and falls for her. However, his attempts to win her heart are thwarted by her father who forbids their relationship. He then teams up with his friend Gopal (Shatrughan Sinha) to convince Laxmi's father that they are suitable for each other. In the end, Hari succeeds in convincing him and the couple marry.
