Guest House 1980

Guest House is a 1980 comedy film starring Peter Riegert and Beverly D'Angelo. The story centers on the newlyweds, Steven (Riegert) and Jennifer (D'Angelo). They've just bought their dream home, only to find out that it comes with a strange surprise - an eccentric elderly tenant (played by Vincent Gardenia) living in the guest house on their property. Despite his gruff exterior, the tenant turns out to be quite a character and the couple soon become fond of him. However, when they discover that the old man has been living in the guest house illegally, they must decide whether to evict him or let him stay. In the end, the couple decides to allow the tenant to stay and the three of them form a unique bond. With plenty of comic relief along the way, Guest House is a lighthearted look at relationships and how one person can make a huge difference in someone else's life.
