Story

Guddi is a 1971 Bollywood film about a young girl, Guddi, who lives in a small village with her family. She has a passion for acting and recites poems in school. One day, she meets the famous Bollywood actor Dharmendra on a movie set and is instantly smitten. She begins to idolize him, dreaming of one day becoming an actress like him. She and her friends start to watch his films and imitate his mannerisms. Her father disapproves of her fascination and forbids her from seeing any more movies. However, Guddi continues to fantasize about Dharmendra and ultimately decides to run away from home in order to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. She eventually finds work as an extra on a movie set, but quickly realizes that the reality of the industry is not as glamorous as she had imagined it. In the end, she returns home and reconciles with her family.
