Green Card Fever 2003

Green Card Fever is the story of a young couple in New York who are desperate to get married but cannot because they are not American citizens. So, they decide to enter a green card lottery and hope for the best. They win the lottery and get their green cards and are now able to be married. The couple is thrilled but soon find out that they have to move to Vermont in order to maintain their green card status. The two are forced to leave their lives behind and move to the small town of Stowe, Vermont. Despite some culture shock from the locals, the couple slowly adapts to their new life while also managing to keep their relationship strong. Ultimately, they realize that they don’t need a green card to stay together and decide to move back to New York. The film ends with the couple happily reunited in New York City and ready to face their future together.
