Ghar Dwar 1985

Ghar Dwaar is a 1985 Indian drama film directed by Kalpataru. It stars Sachin Pilgaonkar, Tanuja and Sulakshana Pandit. The movie follows the story of Ram and Parvati, a married couple. They have two sons and live in a small village in India. Ram works as a farmer and Parvati looks after the house. One day, a rich landlord named Lala Jagat Narain arrives in their village and sets his eyes on Parvati. He tries to lure her away from Ram with promises of wealth and comfort. Ram refuses to accept this and decides to travel to the city in search of a job so that he can provide for his family. After much struggle, he is finally able to secure a job. Meanwhile, Lala Jagat Narain continues to pursue Parvati and eventually succeeds in forcing her to leave with him. Ram comes back home to find his wife gone, and traces her whereabouts to the city. In the end, he manages to reunite with Parvati and his sons. The movie culminates in an emotional reunion between the family members. Ghar Dwaar highlights the importance of loyalty, family values, and commitment in marriage.
