Gardish 1993

Gardish is a 1993 Bollywood movie directed by Priyadarshan starring Jackie Shroff, Amrita Singh, and Dimple Kapadia. The story follows Kishanlal, an honest and brave police officer who is framed by his enemies for being involved in a fake murder case. He is forced to resign from the police department and take refuge in a small village. He meets fellow villagers, including a young boy named Basu, and helps them with their problems. He eventually discovers that the entire village is threatened by a powerful gangster, and decides to use his knowledge of the law to protect the innocent people. With the help of Basu, Kishanlal is able to put an end to the gangster's reign of terror and restore justice to the village. In the end, he is reinstated in the police department and departs the village as a hero.
