Story

Gangster is a 2006 Indian crime-drama film about a young man, Daya, who gets involved in the criminal underworld of Mumbai and eventually rises to become an influential gangster. His older brother, Javed, is a police officer and tries to keep Daya away from the dangerous world of crime. However, Daya is drawn deeper into the underworld and is eventually betrayed by his mentor, Shamsher. He takes revenge on Shamsher and becomes the leader of an organized crime syndicate. He is later arrested and sent to prison. The film ends with Daya's release from jail and his reunion with his family. Daya has learned a valuable lesson and is determined to stay away from crime. Gangster is an engaging story of one man's journey from innocence to darkness and back again.
