Gair 1999

Gair is a 1997 Bollywood romantic drama about two star-crossed lovers, Raj and Varsha. Raj is a successful lawyer living in London, while Varsha is an aspiring singer from a small village in India. When they meet, they both fall deeply in love, but their respective families oppose the union due to their different social backgrounds. Undeterred, they elope and get married. However, their happiness is short-lived as their families continue to try and break them up. In the end, Raj and Varsha prove too strong for the opposing forces and they are reunited and live happily ever after. The film is a classic tale of love conquering all, illustrating that no matter the odds, true love can always prevail.
