Story

G Kutta Se is a 2017 Indian thriller drama film written and directed by Rahul Dahiya. It follows the story of three young rural girls in Haryana, India who are subjected to gender discrimination and exploitation. The girls, Lalli, Banti and Preeti, find themselves in a precarious situation when they are forced into arranged marriages with men they do not know or love. To escape their fate, they plan to run away from home. However, their plans are thwarted by the local village elder, who makes it clear that there will be severe consequences if they are caught. The girls are then left with no choice but to take drastic measures to free themselves from the oppressive society they live in. The film brings to light the plight of rural women in India and the need for greater awareness of gender inequality. Through its powerful narrative, G Kutta Se seeks to emphasize the importance of standing up for one’s rights and fighting against injustice.
