Fox 2009

Fox is a 1980 American drama film directed by Mark Rydell and starring Sally Field. The film follows the story of a young woman, Paulie (Field), who grows up in the 1950s rural South with her emotionally distant father. When her father dies, she is sent to live with her aunt and uncle in the city. She struggles to make sense of her new life, as she faces prejudice, poverty, and a tumultuous relationship with her aunt. Paulie eventually finds solace in a fox that she names "Fella", and begins to develop a bond with it. With the help of Fella, Paulie learns to trust people again, and also discovers that she is capable of achieving her dreams despite the odds. The film ends with Paulie finding success and contentment in her new life, and learning to overcome the difficult circumstances of her childhood.
