Jax, a resilient and resourceful Indigenous woman, finds her world turned upside down when her sister, Tawi, disappears without a trace. This heartbreaking event is all too familiar on their reservation, highlighting the devastating reality of MMIW. Jax, determined to find her sister, takes in Tawi's 13-year-old daughter, Roki, while also grappling with the threat of losing custody to her disapproving father, Frank.
