Ek Chadar Maili Si 1986

Ek Chadar Maili Si is a 1986 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Sukhwant Dhadda. It is based on the novel of the same name written by Rajinder Singh Bedi. The story follows Radha, a young woman living in a small village in India, who is forcibly married to an older man, Chander. Chander soon leaves and abandons her, leaving Radha alone with their daughter, Heer. Radha struggles to make ends meet for herself and her daughter, but her efforts are met with a series of disappointments. She eventually decides to take a chance and move to the city in the hope of finding work that can help her support her family.
