Story

Dum Laga Ke Haisha is a 2015 Indian romantic comedy film, directed by Sharat Katariya and starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar. The story revolves around Prem (Khurrana), an educated young man living in Haridwar, who is forced to marry an overweight girl, Sandhya (Pednekar). Prem initially resents his marriage because of Sandhya's weight, but eventually learns to love her for who she is. Despite the disapproval of his family and the ridicule of society, the couple stands together and fight for their relationship. After many trials and tribulations, the couple finally manages to overcome all odds and prove themselves and their love to everyone. In the end, they both accept each other and live happily ever after. Dum Laga Ke Haisha is a heartwarming tale of true love that finds its way despite overwhelming obstacles.
