Story

Dum (2003) is a Hindi movie about a man named Jai, who is a street thug in Mumbai. He gets involved with a criminal gang and his life spirals out of control. His crime activities land him in jail and he is forced to serve time. During his imprisonment, Jai discovers the power of faith and begins to develop an inner strength that helps him survive and overcome the horrific conditions of prison life. After being released from jail, Jai returns home determined to turn his life around and become a better person. With the help of his family, friends and newfound faith, Jai manages to start a new life and finds success and redemption. Dum is an inspiring story about finding redemption and hope even in the darkest of times. It shows how faith and determination can lead a person to a better life.
