Doli Saja Ke Rakhna 1998

Doli Saja Ke Rakhna is a 1998 romantic drama film directed by Priyadarshan. It stars Akshaye Khanna, Jyothika and Anupam Kher in lead roles. The movie tells the story of Maithili, a young woman from a small village who is married off to Raja, a man from a nearby city. Maithili is not allowed to meet her husband, as she is considered to be too young and naive. She instead finds solace in her new friend, Raja's brother, Kishan. The two of them quickly become close and fall in love. When Raja finds out about their relationship, he is enraged and orders Maithili to leave his house. Kishan then takes Maithili away to his own home, where they live in blissful happiness until Raja's men find them and take Maithili back to Raja's home. Kishan follows them and manages to rescue Maithili and reunite her with her family. In the end, Kishan and Maithili are happily married, while Raja accepts his defeat and pledges to remain loyal to his wife forever.
