Story

Dil Deke Dekho is a 1959 romantic comedy film directed by Nasir Hussain. It stars Shammi Kapoor and Asha Parekh in the lead roles. The story revolves around two college students, Shyam (Kapoor) and Seema (Parekh). Seema's father insists that she marry someone from their caste, while Shyam comes from a poor background. To avoid the arranged marriage, Seema and Shyam run away together, but they have to face many obstacles along the way. Eventually, Shyam finds a job and they get married. Despite all the difficulties, they manage to live happily ever after. Dil Deke Dekho is a charming and lighthearted story about young love overcoming social obstacles. It is a classic tale of how, with hard work and determination, anything can be achieved.
