Dhadak is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Shashank Khaitan, produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios. The film stars Ishaan Khatter and debutant Janhvi Kapoor. It is a remake of the 2016 Marathi language film Sairat. The story follows Madhukar and Parthavi, two star-crossed lovers from different social backgrounds who fall in love and go against their families to be together. Madhukar is from a lower-class family, and Parthavi is the daughter of a high-ranking politician. Despite the many obstacles they face, the two are determined to remain together. In the end, their love overcomes all odds and their families come to accept them. Dhadak is a heartwarming tale of young love in the face of opposition. The movie portrays the difficult journey of two lovers as they struggle against all odds to be together. Despite their differences in class and caste, Madhukar and Parthavi never give up on their love, eventually succeeding in gaining their families'...
