Delhi-6 is a 2009 Indian drama film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Om Puri, Waheeda Rehman, Atul Kulkarni, Divya Dutta, Rishi Kapoor and Supriya Pathak. The story revolves around the life of an NRI (Abhishek Bachchan) who moves back to his ancestral home in the Chandni Chowk area of Delhi. He discovers that the place has changed drastically since his childhood; it is now a bustling metropolis. The film follows him as he slowly adapts to the new environment and faces off against religious fundamentalists, gangsters, and a corrupt government official. The protagonist eventually finds solace in the form of music, which helps him come to terms with the changes and embrace the beauty of the culture of Delhi-6.
