Dahleez 1986

Dahleez is a 1986 Hindi film directed by J. Om Prakash. It stars Jaya Prada and Raj Babbar in the lead roles. The story revolves around Kalpana, daughter of a rich businessman, who is engaged to an army officer, Vikram. When her father finds out about their love affair, he sends her off to his elder brother's house in a distant village, to keep her away from Vikram. Once there, Kalpana discovers that her uncle is a cruel and oppressive man who rules over the villagers with an iron fist. Despite the harsh conditions, Kalpana decides to stay on and teach the village children. With her determination and courage, she helps the villagers fight against the tyranny of her uncle. In the end, she succeeds in uniting Vikram and the villagers, and they all live happily ever after.
